Believed taken to Tasmania from Scotland as part of the cargo of the 'Thistle' and later brought from Launceston to Portland, again by the 'Thistle'. On 6 December 1834 it was used to turn the first sod in Victoria in the vicinity of Bentinck Street, between Julia and Henty Streets. On display, History House, Portland. Not able to be classified: 06/08/1970 The Committee adopted a policy of not classifying objects in museum collections
